[ A small basket is left on the doorstep of Eren's cottage.
Inside the basket are some sachets of tea, wrapped up in some little ribbons. Tucked beside them is a lavender plant and some chocolate at the bottom. The final thing, tucked between it all, is what is clearly a very hand made dog plushie, with a note tucked into the collar around its neck:

It had been stupid. It had been stupid to figure he had most of the day to get back to the Keep. It had been stupid to figure as long as he could make it there by four o'clock, things would be fine. Because Dylan hadn't accounted for being stalked by those horrid little creatures. He hadn't accounted for being trapped by the lot of them. And as the sun began to set and the sickness settled in under his skin, Dylan was in a full panic -- knowing he was going to be caught outside. He was going to have to face what he feared most -- roaming free as a werewolf.
The only thing he knew for certain was he was near Eren's home. So, he shot off a panicked text to Eren because Eren is a monster too, right? Eren could handle him. Eren could maybe wrangle him. Throw some chains on him and call it a day. Anything to keep him from hurting anyone else.
Maybe Eren arrived right before Dylan transformed. If he had, Dylan would have reiterated what he said in the text message. Stop me from hurting anyone. No matter what it fucking takes. But either way, when the transformation happened, Dylan's skin exploded off into a bloody mess on fresh fallen snow. And the monster he became, upon smelling something fresh and warm, instantly went to attack.
And that was how they remained, locked in battle for much of the evening. It was only with the nearing of dawn that Dylan disengaged and put distance between himself and Eren -- settling near a cluster of trees. It ends with another explosion of blood, and Dylan comes back to himself, naked and suddenly cold. It's disorienting and he lets out a shuddered sob as his eyes sweep the area -- eventually landing on Eren. He reels back at the sight of him -- bloody and dangerous.
"Oh god...." his stomach turns. Dylan feels sick.

[She's been more or less thinking about this ever since Armin arrived and all the basic questions like "Do you need food, clothes.... money, anything???" popped into her head as soon as she saw him. She should have asked this sooner but better now than even later or never and she absolutely had so many other things to think about when Eren arrived here.]

The present, once unwrapped, is a leather woven bracelets like the one he talked to Reiner about; it has dark green beads and suspiciously familiar golden ones woven through them.
