Eren Jaeger

I've done a little of the rockstar thing at folkmore:

Eren is sensation/adrenaline seeking and channels that into music, plays guitar, is a singer but also does the screamy bits hahaha bc why wouldn't he do that? (I usually imagine emo/punk and not metalhead stuff bc I personally can't stand metal music and don't wanna do research enough to write about it rip me)

I imagine they could be doing the same gig for awhile with [x other character] doing whatever you fancy

ALTERNATELY, wide open how they meet, whether [x character] comes to a concert, is another musician (or both w/e), is someone who works in another aspect like sound, they meet at a bar, I have no idea I'm just spitballing

I have this less fleshed out in my brain but hand waves why two boys get to go. Obviously I like the violent revolution idea that we see in the original; I think actually there are parallels between Eren and Katniss that I won't go off on and bore you with skjahfk but either way obviously Eren would never kill anyone he actually loves so they have to find a way to just SURVIVE. (As a note, I don't love writing drawn out fights so I'd rather focus on parts of this AU that aren't just fighting in the arena.)

Post-games there's more of the same. No one trusts them bc Eren is Eren, brutal and vicious but not in a way the Capitol actually likes. They're trying to make contact with people who can save them but Eren doesn't want to stop until they kill the people in charge or something along these lines.

Eren, prince of a kingdom and commander of their army bc he won't just sit down and let people fight for him. Takes hideously unnecessary risks but somehow always manages to be fine. Known for never taking prisoners.

Rumours about him that are probably worse than he is but he's still Eren, so…he's often just terrible and self-absorbed and obsessed with victory in a conflict.

There's room for allies either under duress or circumstance or because they really ARE friends, [x character] could be an advisor that pulls Eren back from the edge whenever he starts to tip over it (with varying degrees of success), potential for even arranged marriage tropes, or prince/knight.

Also throw other royalty AU ideas at me, I really like this kind of thing for him.

Carrying on the royalty vibes here, but Eren as a Targaryen for SURE. The parallels are impossible to miss :')

Dragons! Destruction! Intrigue! I haven't fleshed this out entirely but let's go!

Eren is a hero (can be hero turned villain, depending on storyline) with a fairly dangerous quirk: the power of suggestion. This is a charisma quirk that affects others by compelling them to follow him. Unfortunately this works whether he means it or not, which is part of why it's so dangerous.

starbucks barista, handing eren a cup that says "ellen":
eren: ugh people are the worst
floch, sitting behind him: hmmmm

"I wish everyone would just die" he says in a fit of teenage angst

Several people hearing this: *picking up weapons*

This isn't fully fleshed out either but I'm open to ~possibility~
