[ That's the crux of the matter. Imagine just getting a hobby or something like a normal person! Couldn't be him, apparently.
Eren won't ever miss cleaning to Levi's standards, but he's gotten used to things like that in the past however many years. Anyway, some of it was actually just helping back when Levi couldn't do things like clean the floor because of his leg or whatever. He doesn't mind helping.
And he likes Levi's company most of the time. The part of him that will always be a starstruck kid thinks it's amazing that he got to share close quarters without the military structure of it. They were just...people, existing. They'd become family, and even if he sucks at showing how much that matters to him, it does.
When Eren was young, he figured he'd have a little house like his parents had. He had regular domestic ideas juxtaposed with that "freedom" he was always chasing. This place isn't quite that, but it's…something. It's something none of them could have had at home and he doesn't take it for granted. ]
[ It seems like an obvious suggestion (to Levi, anyway). ]
[ But this is probably a discussion best had face to face rather than over text. Levi perhaps mistakenly thinks this might have more to do with Eren's life as a soldier than his struggling to be a normal person right now; after all, many in the Corps did not have all that much in the way of personal belongings, living in barracks and all that. ]
[ Levi has had an entire life before he joined the military. He was never a normal person, exactly, but he was a person, of some sort. He'd experienced things outside of the strict routines of the regime. Eren never had that chance; roughing it at the base is all he knows. Of course he may need time and guidance. It's not that Levi wants him to drown his house in junk, of course -- he's not so materialistic, and he tends to keep his own possessions modest enough -- but he could certainly have something. ]
I look forward to it.
Levi
[ He hardly needs more tea, but there's something very personal about picking one out for a specific person and sharing it with them. He would never deny Eren that, not when they finally seem to have... repaired the rift between them a little bit. ]

Thanks. I'll bring some nice tea sometimes too.
