And he likes Levi's company most of the time. The part of him that will always be a starstruck kid thinks it's amazing that he got to share close quarters without the military structure of it. They were just...people, existing. They'd become family, and even if he sucks at showing how much that matters to him, it does.
When Eren was young, he figured he'd have a little house like his parents had. He had regular domestic ideas juxtaposed with that "freedom" he was always chasing.
